Pest control license lookup by state
Use the primary agency to check the specific business, license type, and responsible applicator. Our directory is a research layer, not the regulator.
Start here
Start with the official registry and the company’s exact name and license number. A stored directory snapshot cannot confirm current status; only the responsible agency can resolve a current licensing question.
Official state registries
The launch hub publishes the Virginia resource used by our normalized company data. Other states will be added after source review rather than filling this page with unchecked links.
How to check a company
- Ask for the registered business name, license number, license type, and responsible applicator.
- Open the official agency resource and search the exact details rather than relying on a logo or marketing badge.
- Confirm that the business location and license category fit the proposed work. Ask the agency when a category is unclear.
- Request current proof of insurance and resolve any mismatch before signing.
What our source statuses mean
Raw registry status is preserved as a source field. Expiration-derived labels use a stated as-of date. Snapshot age and refresh requirements are separate again. None of these fields is silently transformed into a “verified currently active” claim.
Read the directory methodology for category evidence, source dates, and publication gates.
Coverage and limitations
This hub does not imply that every state uses the same license structure or that one national database can answer every question. Pest control businesses, commercial applicators, registered technicians, and wildlife operators can fall under different rules.
If you cannot find a record, contact the agency directly. Absence from our export is not evidence that a business is unlicensed or closed.
